Royce Prude, Jr., Deacon

Royce was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, while his father was in the Air Force. His family moved to Texas and settled in Dallas when he was 6 months old. He graduated from Hillcrest High School and received his BBA and MBA from SMU. After graduation, he married Ruth Ann, a Dallasite and SMU grad. They have two sons, Royce a freshman at Pepperdine and Billy a junior at Lake Highlands High School. Royce and his family have attended Skillman all their lives. His parents, brother, and mother-in-law are also Skillman members.

Royce is the Director of Long Range Financial Planning at Verizon Directories. 

Additionally, Royce serves as Deacon and a member of the Skillman Finance Committee. He also works with the Youth Group, chaperoning Retreats and Summer Trek and with our Preschool Department assisting in Children's Church.

Royce is involved in Scouting and enjoys camping, hiking, and canoeing. He also enjoys golfing and reading.

Royce is thankful for God's blessings in his life and the life of the church at Skillman.
