Marty Thigpen, Secretary

Marti Thigpen moved to Dallas in January of 2000 from El Paso where she was a secretary at Eastwood Church of Christ for 10 years.  She is married to Royse Thigpen, who she met and married while attending college at Texas Tech.  Having deciding to visit several congregations in the Metroplex before they made a decision where to worship, they quickly chose Skillman because of the warm friendly welcome they received.  Soon after, she was asked to join the office staff. 

Royse works in the Retirement Department at Dallas Independent School District and is a Skillman deacon. They have 2 grown children, Matt and Holly.    

Her duties include answering the telephone, helping our members with any requests or needs, secretarial duties for various ministers, and maintaining the general church e-mail.
