Missional Living: Tracking our progress

The purpose of this exercise is to help you evaluate your life in terms of God's purposes. We hope that by working through these questions you will think about where you are now and where you hope to be later in these areas of godly living.

We encourage you to answer these questions now and again in a few months, and once again at the end of the year as a way to measure your progress in Missional living.

Missional living is a term describing a life shaped by prayer, Scripture and action that takes us out into the world that God loves. We go out expecting to give and receive blessings as we answer Go's invitation to to join him in his work.

At the heart of our attempts at missional living are these guiding principles

  • Every member a missionary
  • Every person we meet is created and love by God
  • Seeing God at work and joining in
  • Imagining and embracing new possibilities
  • Living hospitably

Take a moment to rate yourself on these items. On a scale of 1 to 5 (5 is the highest) how would you rate your cognizance of each of these guidelines?
