At Skillman, we intentionally pursue spiritual growth for all stages of life – children, families, singles and older adults. An important avenue for developing spiritually is the study of God’s Word. Bible classes provide a place to connect, a place to belong, and a place to grow. These classes are a venue to experience the life-changing power of the Word of God in the context of meaningful relationships. Skillman is committed to the study and practice of God’s Word. Spending time in the study and application of the Scriptures is a very important life element for the people of this church. A wide variety of classes meet each week to welcome all and nurture our people in their faith journey.

FLC Youth Room
Our Youth Group is designed for teens from 6th grade all the way through 12th grade. Through spiritual guidance and direction these kids are encouraged to grow deeper in faith as they seek to follow the one rule (love one another) and the one goal (love God). This group tends to have lots of fun too : ) The Youth Group meets in the FLC Youth Room from 9:30am-10:15am each Sunday and also on Sunday nights from 6:00pm to 7:30pm for Bible study.
Meeting in East Wing
Join us as we will be sharing in conversation about the video series, The Chosen. Each week, we will review an episode of The Chosen prior to coming to class, and then we will join in discussion groups led by Shalene Valentine, Makenna Miller, and Jake Jacobson. All ages are welcome! We will have class family-style.
Join Us All Year in Prayer
In 2022, we will begin a podcast series on prayer. Each week, we will focus on a different theme and invite one another to pray consistently (1 Thessalonians 5:17) throughout the week. We invite you to join us and prepare to spend 2022 in constant prayer.
